What inspections cover

LetSense has a mobile-friendly inspection conductor that lets you walk through a property room by room, rating each item's condition and adding photos and notes. Completed inspections generate a PDF report.

Inspections require a Pro or Agency plan.

Create a new inspection

  1. Go to Inspections in the sidebar, or open a property and go to its Inspections tab.
  2. Click New inspection.
  3. Select the property, inspection type (routine, check-in, check-out), and scheduled date.
  4. Click Create.

Conducting the inspection

  1. Open the inspection and click Start inspection.
  2. Work through each room. For each item, select a condition: Good, Fair, Poor, or N/A.
  3. Add notes and photos for anything that needs attention.
  4. Add rooms or items if your property has something not in the default template.

The conductor saves as you go — you can pause mid-inspection and come back to it.

Completing the inspection

  1. Once all rooms are done, click Complete inspection.
  2. Add any overall notes and a summary.
  3. Click Confirm completion.

Inspection report

Completed inspections generate a PDF report you can download or share with the tenant. The report includes the property address, inspection date, all room ratings, photos, and notes.

Raising maintenance from an inspection

If you spot an issue during the inspection, click Raise maintenance job next to any item. A maintenance request is created immediately — pre-filled with the room and description from your inspection note.
