Add your first property

Before you start

You'll need the property's full address and postcode. Everything else — certificates, tenancies, rent — can be added afterwards.

Steps

1. Go to Properties in the left sidebar.
2. Click Add property in the top-right corner.
3. Enter the postcode and select the address from the dropdown. LetSense uses the Royal Mail address database — if your property isn't listed, you can type the address manually.
4. Set the property type (flat, house, HMO, etc.) and the number of bedrooms.
5. Click Save property.

What to add next

Once the property is created, you'll see a tabbed page with:

• Compliance — add your certificates (gas safety, EICR, EPC, etc.)
• Tenants — create a tenancy and invite your tenant
• Finances — set up rent tracking

You can add all of this at once or come back to it — the property is saved immediately.
