Moving from spreadsheets or another tool

There's no bulk import — and here's why

LetSense has a CSV import for bulk-adding properties (Pro plan and above). For smaller portfolios, adding properties manually using the postcode lookup is quicker and more accurate.

Recommended approach

  1. Add properties first. Use the postcode lookup — it's faster than typing addresses manually.
  2. Add compliance certificates. For each property, upload the existing PDF and set the issue/expiry date. This is the most important step — it's what drives your compliance alerts.
  3. Add tenancies and rent. Create the tenancy with the start date and rent amount. Mark historical payments as paid to get an accurate balance.
  4. Upload documents. Tenancy agreements, deposit certificates — upload to the Documents tab on each property.
