Tracking insurance and policy renewals

What the Policies tab covers

Inside Finances → Policies for each property, you can record:

• Buildings insurance
• Landlord insurance
• Contents insurance
• Warranty
• Ground rent
• Service charge

Adding a policy

1. Open the property, go to Finances, then the Policies tab.
2. Click Edit on the relevant policy type.
3. Enter the provider, policy/reference number, premium amounts (monthly or annual), start date, and renewal date.
4. Click Save.

Renewal reminders

LetSense automatically sends reminder notifications at 90, 60, and 30 days before a policy's renewal date — the same cadence as compliance certificates. You won't miss a renewal.

Logging as an expense

When you save a policy with a premium amount, LetSense prompts you to log it as an expense. Click Yes to create an expense record automatically — it's added to your Expenses tab and pushed to Xero if connected.
